Sometimes we all have to make decisions which effect only ourselves but others around us in our life.

The question is how do you know what the reasons are for your decision and are those reasons the right reasons.

Are the reasons for actual benefit to yourself, to benefit others around you or is it a call for help?

Every action that we make, every minute of the day is made for a reason. Can we validate all those actions and then validate the reasons behind those validations?

How many actions each day do we make for the actual benefit of ourselves and how many are done to call attention to our own existance?

When we have big decisions to make, how do we know if we are making them for the right reasons?

So many questions and can any of us actually honestly answer them without any feeling of guilt?

For us to be truely happy we need to make the right decisions for the right reasons, but does that mean making them just to make ourselves happy, or does that make us selfish?

So today I have finally got around to updating the Completed Dreams and I am up to 58, so I have two more to do before October 2019.

Pam and I already have one planned for March, Hot Air Ballooning, and I am going to a World Scout Jamboree in August, so I may have to up the goal to 65 before October 2019.

So I have added Ice Skating, Sky Diving, Bambi, Having a Greenhouse, Go Karting and Stone Rolling to the haul for 2018 and I now need three new ones as I currently have three gaps on the list. Any ideas send them my way and I'll see if they make the cut.

Be safe out there and always strive to be a better you xx

Some days, it doesn’t matter where you are. It could be a song in the pub or in a supermarket or on the radio in the car. It could be a programme on the television. They come when you least expect them, but they will come.

Sometimes you dont even realise they are there, you dont remember what you are thinking, but suddenly, clear as day, memories, that sometimes you don’t even remember you have or you have locked away at the back of your mind, come flooding back.

Suddenly you are right back there, suddenly you are there at his bedside in his last moments before the angels took him away or watching his funeral car arrive at the house or seeing the faces of the people at his funeral, but thats all you can remember. You have took look at a picture to remember his face and no matter how hard you try you can’t get your head to bring back any other memories.

You take a deep breath, you shake your head, you close your eyes and take another breath but still nothing.

The point I am trying to make is don’t take anything for granted. Make the most of everyday. Ring your mum, go and see your sister, send your cousin a postcard or your friend a card just to say you are thinking of them. Tell your loved ones that you love them.

Don’t let anyone think they are not thought of and make sure that you make as many memories as you can as you never know when you wont be able make more memories.

Everyone matter xxx

Every now and again, and sometimes more often that, we occasionally wonder what our purpose is and how we have got to where we are.

Sometimes we need to think about the people around us, the people that influence our everyday lives. From our family and friends to our work colleagues and neighbours. Every interaction changes our opinions, our actions and therefore the outcome e.g. us.

We may not like it but sometimes reflecting on the people we love the most can be the hardest thing to do. They have the biggest influence on us and can effect the outcome of our actions.

Maybe today is the day to change some of our inbuilt reactions to situations and move out of that box into a slightly more uncomfortable place.

What do you want to do today? If the day was all yours and there was no restrictions to what you could do what would you do?

Ok so money is always an issue to dreams, but there is always something you can do. It doesn’t have to include money, it could be something as simply as bringing happiness to someone else. Just by smiling at a stranger on the street or picking up something that someone has dropped, could bring someone happiness and in turn bring you happiness.

So maybe today is the day to make yourself smile, to bring yourself your own little smile of sunshine.

Have a great day

How many days have you got up and dreaded the day ahead?

The thought of leavng your warm safe haven of a bed and moving into that real world where you have responsibility and daily challenges to take on. We've all been there, but why do we allow it to happen?

We have one life and the only person responsible for that life is you. The only person that can make a difference to your day, your week, your life is you.

The control is in your hands.

So your sitting thinking, I would love to have a bigger house, a nanny for the kids, a newer car or even everyday neccessities by being able to afford the weekly shop or to put the heating on for an hour.

What are you waiting for, get out there and make your life better. No one is going to do it for you. You are responsible for yourself and your future.

Do you want to be here, in the same place, this time next year or in the next ten years? No, well do something about it.

Make little changes, it doesn't have to cost money, it doesn't have to change to world, but do something today that makes you happy and makes you smile. Thats the start to your future. Little steps, one at a time.,

So go put on your favourite music, dig out your old paints and paint a plant pot or a rock and put it somewhere to not only make you smile but to make someone else smile.

It doesn't matter what it is, do one thing today for you to make you smile

Have a great day
