Do you ever get the feeling when you want someone so much and then you actually get them, that it can't actually be real?

When you want someone so much that you can't sleep and you can't eat, you can't do anything but think of them.

Then that day comes when you are lucky enough to get the seemingly impossible and all you have is doubt. You have, for the first time, put your heart on the line because you want it so much, but now the doubt is there. The doubt caused by not knowing the full story, the doubt caused by shadows cast by others. You know, that deep down, you want to believe what you are hearing, but you also know the truth.

So do you stay, stick it out and hope that it is real, or do you run, run away and save yourself the potential heartache if its not?

Only you can decide, only you can do whats right for you....... Fight or Flight.........

Technology now makes, what used to be, huge distances between people into being so much smaller simply with a phonecall or a message.

You can be 5,000 miles away from someone and close that gap in an instant with a phonecall or message.

However does it have to be a call or a message?

So many other things can bring memories of events or people back to us. It could be a certain song or a certain word that someone says. It could be a picture or even a smell of perfume, it could be anything.

Nothing will ever replace actually replace seeing that person when you want to be with them, but there are ways and means of finding a way to be closer to them. You just have to find the way that works for you.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder and reminds you why you want to be with them.

Ever watch a film and think 'that never happens in the real world'?

Ever see two people in the film finish each others sentences and think "that never happens in the real world?"

Ever see those two people constantly wanting to be together and literally going insane without each other and thinking "that never happens in the real world"

Ever see the same two people where, in a matter of no time, they know every inch of each other, no matter how crazy, insane, good, bad or indifferent it is and neither of them care about each others past, all they want us a bright shiny future together and thinking "that never happens in the real world"

Well all I am going to say is "It Does" I can catagorically tell you "It Does'

So, I've been told that if something scares you, you should do it.

Doing things that are scary are what makes us stronger, they are what pushes us to learn so much faster. We either learn about ourselves or about a situation or about others, but like all things in life, it is how we choose to learn from each of these scary moments that makes us the awesome people that we are.

So the question comes, what if it's too scary?

How do you know when you have crossed that line from scary into completely crazy cuckoo land? The short answer is you don't and you won't know until you try and then find out. The long answer is pretty much the same with maybe a few added days/weeks/months of stress, not eating and not sleeping until you work out whether you think you can take that leap into scary or if it way out in crazy cuckoo land and its not somewhere you feel you can go.

Life is not meant to be easy, we don't live in a choregraphed disney movie, we live in the real world. The place where we make mistakes, the place where not every decision is the right one, where we learn as best we can but still dont always make the right decision.

Sometimes we need scary and sometimes we need to be safe, which path you choose doesn't define who you are, its what you learn along the way.

Sometimes when you least expect it, things happen that make you question everything about you. Question everything you know as the 'normal'

Are these things meant to happen? Are you supposed to let them happen?

What is 'normal'? Who defines what you are supposed to do? Is it you? Is it the world around you?

Do you base your decisions on the efffect your actions will have on others?

Sometimes there are too many questions and you just don't know the answers.

Do you follow you heart or your head?

Sometimes we just have to wait and see what happens and sometimes we may never get the answer. It's having the strength to accept it and thats what makes you the person you are.
