When Reality Hits........

Have you ever got carried away and believed something is true when its not?

Is this because you don't want to acknowledge the full story or acknowledge there is more to a situation than there actually is? Or is it because you want the true fairytale and will ignore the facts to get it even if it is only for a short time.

We all throw ourselves into situations without knowing all the facts or without understanding how we will feel when the result of a situation suddenly becomes very real.

Sometimes it can be things we know, but we haven't taken the time to understand how that would effect us.

Then suddenly something is said that makes it all very real, your skin goes cold and your stomach churns and you don't know what you are going to do.

Can you get over this new realisation or is it just to hard to deal with. When you realise that someone has what you will never have it can hit you like a freight train, even if you knew it was coming. When it finally arrives it takes you totally by surprise and you don't know which way to run.

This is not about fight or flight, this is about coping with one of the biggest challenges in your life and being able to continue down the road without any resentment.

The question is, can you do it or is it just too hard?
