This recipe is courtesy of Jamie Oliver and is the most amazingley thick and silky Hot Chocolate ideal for dipping waffle sticks, pouring on ice cream or just drinking.
2tblsp Horlicks or similar malty drink powder
3tblsp icing sugar
4tblsp cocoa powder
100g grated dark chocolate or 50g milk and 50g dark if you want it a little sweeter
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 pinch of sea salt
Place all ingredients in a large tub and shake.
Pour 2pints of milk in a saucepan and bring almost to the boil.
Stir in between 6-8 tablespoons, give it a good whisk and leave to thicken for a couple of minutes.
If it is not thick enough for you add another tablespoon of the mixture.
